Charlie is 11, popular, and happy living with her young single mum. But when her favourite teacher is replaced and her mum loses her job, things start to unravel quickly.
Her new teacher is giving her a hard time and a history project she has no interest in, her mum’s head is turned by a new man, and worst of all, she has to sit next to the school swot, Jamie Edwards.
This is a thought provoking, witty journey through the eyes of a child coping with life changes. Adapted by Vicky Ireland from the award winning novel by Jacqueline Wilson, this play is suitable for children around 7 years and up, and adults alike.
