On the night of his 35th birthday, bachelor Robert struggles to think of a wish as he blows out his birthday candles. Over the course of a series of dinners, drinks, and even a wedding, his diverse and frequently hilarious friends -- "those good and crazy people [his] married friends" -- explain the pro's and con's of taking on a spouse. Robert is forced to question his single status during an hilarious array of interactions.
Stephen Sondheim's ground breaking modern musical is a mature, intelligent and wildly funny look at relationships and vulnerability. Nominated for a record fourteen 'Tony' Awards and winning seven of them, 'Company' features a brilliantly brisk and energetic score containing many of Sondheim's best known songs, including 'Being Alive', 'Barcelona', 'Ladies Who Lunch', 'Side by Side' and 'Drive a Person Crazy'.
