Join three experts for a lively and enlightening discussion about female suffrage and women in politics. From the early pioneers and the challenges they faced, to the remarkable Kent women who played their part in a momentous change in British society.
Jad Adams is the author of ‘Women and the Vote: A World History’, the first genuinely global history of women’s suffrage.
Mary Honeyball’s (MEP) ‘Parliamentary Pioneers’ follows the trailblazers who laid the foundations for women in the House of Commons.
Dr Anne Logan is a senior lecturer in social history at Kent University.
