The summer heat is really set to rise when Rosehill welcomes back Scottish-born Hardeep Singh Kohli to join head chef Jon Fell in preparing a tasty Indian-inspired supper and to recount his life and times in his own comic style!
This event follows the success of Hardeep's visit to Rosehill earlier this year and is presented on Saturday 28 July as part of the weekend's Taste Cumbria food and drink festival in Whitehaven.
The evening starts at 6.30pm in the foyer (or outside if the weather is good!) for a two-course Indian-themed supper followed by the performance in the auditorium at 8pm. And who knows, Jon might even be persuaded to join Hardeep on stage!
Hardeep is a much-respected and award-winning broadcaster, comedian, writer and chef. He also sits on the board of the National Theatre of Scotland. He is well known for BBC Radio 4 shows such as Hardeep's Sunday Lunch and Pick of the Week, and has regularly fronted programmes for BBC Radio 2, BBC World Service and BBC Asian Network.
As well as performing at Rosehill earlier this year during the week of Burns' Night, his previous visits have been for his shows The Nearly Naked Chef and Chat Masala.
Tickets, which include the two-course supper, are £35, available to buy online, by email to info@rosehilltheatre.co.uk or from the box office on 01946 692422.
