Forest Forge Theatre Company presents UpBeat a buoyant and poetic play in two halves - River Rising and Catch the Water - set against the backdrop of the heritage waterways of Wessex. This exciting new play has been written by local playwright Deborah Gearing.

Follow the story of a brother and sister as they chart the ebb and flow of their lives on a journey from youthful rebellion to adult ideals. A journey that continually pulls them back to the riverbank. A multi-skilled cast of actor-musicians use the medium of folk music and vibrant storytelling to deliver a heart-warming, tender and witty riverbank story that will send you dancing home.
