with the Endellion String Quartet
The Endellion Quartet continues its Beethoven 250th anniversary celebrations with an early quartet, op.18 no.4, and the two works which herald Beethoven’s remarkable final three years writing his other-worldly late period quartets.
First, the remarkably concentrated, almost terse, F minor quartet op.95 Serioso, and then a work of such ethereal gentleness that it seems to find Beethoven finally accepting the struggle and pain of a turbulently epic life - op.127 in E flat.Free for 25s and under.
