On the eve of Independence Day and 150 years on from the American Civil War, Fiori Musicali present music from those early days.
American oboist Gail Hennessy (one of the leading exponents of baroque and classical oboe) explores the impact of European music on American culture with Fiori’s founder and director Penelope Rapson.
Enjoy the company of these two entertaining musicians as they discuss and perform music they love, and chat with them over lunch afterwards.
