UK Monster Truck Nationals

Crazy Australian quad-bike stuntman Matt Coulter ‘The Kangaroo Kid’ will be joining the awesome action at the UK Monster Truck Nationals on Sunday 18th August at the famous Santa Pod Raceway in Northamptonshire.

Matt's incredible world record performances have taken him all around the globe, and he has a huge worldwide following of fans. The Kangaroo Kid's triumphs have included insane quad-bike jumps over a fighter jet, a paddle steamer, a flying plane and an amazing 14 parked 4x4's!

The Kangaroo Kid joins some of the fastest, loudest, strongest and heaviest machines in the world at the UK Monster Truck Nationals. Car-crushing monster trucks including ‘Podzilla’, ‘Swamp Thing’, ‘Grim Reaper’ and ‘Big Pete’ will be battling for the UK title in head-to-head competition and amazing freestyle action. Previous freestyle contests have even included caravan crushing and bus jumping!

Europe’s only race-designed monster ride truck ‘Red Dragon’ will be giving white-knuckle passenger rides at this event. This awesome, adrenaline fuelled thrill ride is not for the faint-hearted. Standing at almost 12 feet tall, and weighing in at 5 tons, it crushes everything in its path. Red Dragon will even crush cars with daring passengers on board!

Real-life Wrestling stars add human muscle-power to the event, before record-breaking 300mph Jet Car ‘Fireforce’ provides an unmissable display on the famous Santa Pod drag strip.

Gates open from 10am, with an F1-style Pit Party Walkabout where fans can meet the stars of the show, plus Santa Pod mascot ‘Nitro The Dragon’, and take photographs with the monster trucks.
