The Watford Colosseum Darts Masters 2016

Some of the world’s best darts players are set to do battle at Watford Colosseum when the Watford Darts Masters comes to town in April 2016.

The exciting event, dubbed ‘Battle of the Gladiators’, will see darting deities such as multiple World Champions Raymond van Barneveld and Martin Adams compete for the title.

Also so on show will be newly-crowned World Grand Prix champion Robert Thornton, former World Champion Mark Webster, former World Youth Champion Keegan Brown, female star Fallon Sherrock, Darryl Fitton and the legendary Bobby George.

The crowd will experience all the thrills of the most popular night in professional sport as seen on TV. Nothing beats a night at the darts for entertainment, enjoyment and sporting theatre.

And five-time World Champion van Barneveld expressed his excitement upon the announcement of the event.

'I’m really looking forward to this one,' said the Dutch great. 'It is a fantastically strong line-up and I’m honoured to be a part of. It really will be a gladiatorial battle at the Colosseum and I hope to come out on top. All the players really enjoy taking darts to different places and we can promise that the fans will be entertained.'
