Professional comedian John Pendal was born and raised in Watford. He brings his hit comedy show "Monster" to the Pump House, fresh from the 2019 Edinburgh Festival where it received four FIVE STAR reviews: "fabulous show" ***** - Voice Magazine, "deeply moving" ***** - The Wee Review, "indelible triumph" ***** - Broadway Baby and "comedy masterpiece" ***** - Feminist Fringe Reviews. “Monster” is a comedy show about sex and sexuality, which laughs in the face of shame and guilt. It's aimed at anyone struggling to feel good about themselves.
