WMC on Tour: an evening of Baroque musical opulence at Longleat House.

Programme includes works by: John Bull, John Blow, Purcell, Chambonnieres and Draghi.

In the 16th and 17th centuries, making music at home was an important part of a family's cultural and social life. Inspired by the illustrious history of Longleat House, Sophie Yates brings to life some of the music that would have been enjoyed at that time, including pieces by English, French and Italian composers fashionable at the Jacobean and Carolean courts.
