O' Higgins / Gascoyne Quartet

Co-led group specialising in “Contrafacts” – new tunes written to changes of favourite standards.

This band has been having, and giving, fun for over four years and have produced two CDs. The co-leaders take equal responsibility for writing the tunes which means not a little competition to produce the most “developed” alternatives to the familiar. Graham Harvey has been with Stacey Kent for eight years - and runs his own trio “Glue”.

The masterful musicianship of these individuals is put to the service of very listenable and enchanting, not to say intriguing , entertainment.
