Contemporary folk singer/songwriter Bob Cheevers was born and raised in Memphis; relocating to California after graduating college, he landed a solo record deal before resurfacing as frontman of bubblegum group 'Peppermint Trolley Company'. Though scoring a minor hit with "Baby You Come Rollin' Across My Mind", the band was perhaps best known for performing the theme songs for the hit television comedy 'The Brady Bunch'
Cheevers subsequently worked as a staff songwriter with publishers MCA Music and Cobra Music, but continued to perform at industry showcases. In 1991 he moved to Nashville and started releasing records, later winning the Kerrville New Folk Competition. 'Gettysburg to Graceland' and 'The Stories I Write' won many plaudits and encouraged Cheevers to undertake his first UK tour.

Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings have recorded his songs. When he died, Elvis had a song of Bob's on his "to do" list. With over 3,000 songs in his armoury and having toured Europe regularly for over two decades Bob continues to write and record. After 15 years on Nashville's music scene, he relocated to Austin and released 'Tall Texas Tales' followed in 2016 by his '50 Years' boxset compilation.

TwickFolk will host the final date on what he has announced will be his final UK tour.
