Sheer Music Present: Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer, The Real Cheesemakers

"After the stunning success of Chap-Hop contender, Professor Elemental in September 2017, Sheer Music are proud to announce a performance from the Chap-Hop heavyweight champion of the World, Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer!

Mr B, formally the lead quipper in 90s indie rap legends, Collapsed Lung (responsible for the best football song of all time, Eat My Goal) before migrating over to mainstream success, performing on News Night and taking Chap Hop to New York as a soloist.

Armed with only his trust Banjolele and a well preened moustache, Mr B regularly faces chap-off challengers from would be contenders, replying to diss-tracks from his sworn enemy Professor Elemental and just about having enough time to regularly feature in quarterly men’s magazine, The Chap.

Those who are old enough will hear many parodies and nobs to acid house, rave and other such 90s ditties from The Prodigy, Orbital and Sugar Hill Gang and even Beastie Boys throughout Mr Bs set, all mixed in with his whit, and succinct humour. Often rapping about how he takes his tea (strong, no sugar) and the rules of Cricket and being made a Knight Of The Realm by the Queen (wall, almost).

Not to be missed!"
