After last year's sell out Magna Carta Conference they are pleased to present this year’s Norman Conquest Anniversary Conference, 1066 and all that!

2016 marks 950 years since the Battle of Hastings so we will be hosting an entertaining event at the Civic Centre on 16th September. There will be a full day of informative seminars by some of the country's leading historians.

The speakers are:

Dr Matt Bennett - The Battles of 1066,
Dr Sean McGlynn - William the Conqueror,
Dr Michael Costen - The English Church After the Conquest,
Dr Katherine Weikhert - Women/Queenship/Matilda,
Andy Milroy - The de Bohuns.
