Marple Through Music
Contemporary crime novelist MP Wright worked in the music industry, as a private investigator, and in the probation services before publishing Heartman, his highly acclaimed debut novel featuring JT Ellington, a Bajan ex-cop washed up on the streets of 1960s Bristol. Heartman was snapped up by the BBC and Wright is now a screenwriter as well as a novelist.
In this session, he will look at how Miss Marple has been represented through music in film and television adaptations by composers such as Ron Goodwin and Ken Howard.
