Shakatak

Shakatak have enjoyed a level of success and career longevity rarely achieved in contemporary music. Paradoxically, the band enjoys both cult status and popular recognition due to their many hits, including the singles Easier Said Than Done, Night Birds and Down on the Street.

Throughout their 31-year career Shakatak have released more than 50 CDs plus three DVDs and their most recent recording, Across The World, was released in April 2011. The six-piece line-up features the four original members, Bill Sharpe, Jill Saward, Roger Odell and George Anderson.
