Barbershop to Broadway

The ‘Chordettes’ Acappella Chorus are one of Devon’s most popular and long-standing ladies’ choirs, singing 4-Part Close Harmony in both the traditional barbershop style and modern arrangements. All performances are Acappella (without accompaniment) and feature all four voice parts – Tenor, Lead, Baritone and Bass – creating the tight close harmonies associated with barbershop which make the chords ring.

They are being joined on stage for this concert by ‘Bells and Baxter’, a fantastic musical duo taking the world by storm! Having met whilst performing for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, these two are sure to blow you away with a sumptuous evening of soaring vocals.

Both classically trained and from musical backgrounds, this talented pair have cut their teeth in hit West End shows such as ‘Les Miserables’ and ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ as well as appearing in Number One UK Tours and sell out shows at the well renowned Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
