Ballet Central

Ballet Central has been Central School of Ballet’s touring company for 30 years. The tour is a regular fixture on the UK’s touring calendar and the performances are much anticipated throughout the UK.

Each year Ballet Central works with young and dynamic dancers to showcase their talent through a diverse performance of newly commissioned works and much-loved revivals. The 2015 programme features a dazzling programme of ballet, neoclassical, contemporary and narrative dance and choreographers for this year’s tour include Christopher Hampson (Artistic Director, Scottish Ballet), Kit Holder (Birmingham Royal Ballet), Christopher Marney (Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures), Sharon Watson (Artistic Director, Phoenix Dance Theatre) and Christopher Bruce (international choreographer). The repertoire will also feature revived work by company founder Christopher Gable, which will be staged by Carole Gable.
