Crucifixus: Were You There?
Passionate music for Passiontide. Poulenc's sombre and dramatic Quatre Motets pour le temps de Tenebrae form the centrepiece of this concert of Lenten music.
The concert will also include the famous Lotti Crucifixus and beautiful scores by Byrd, Sir James MacMillan, Monteverdi and Palastrina.
Meditative plainchant and imaginative arrangements of Holy Week spirituals complete a typically varied TCC programme.
