Commonground

Commonground draw from a wide range of musical genres and are equally at home in the traditional folk club or an Arts Centre setting. They combine traditional folk songs with some excellent contemporary songs and even an American rag or two. David and Alison Fenner are the main vocalists and they bring enormous experience from performances at clubs and festivals in England and Europe. Accompanying themselves on concertina and guitar, they are joined by Kevin Bown and Fran Wade - both of whom have been working on the English folk scene for many years - to provide strings and vocal harmonies.
