The Preacher Men

The Preacher Men were formed mid 2013 as a good excuse to hang out on a regular basis and drink. After seeing The Broken Circle Breakdown in the cinema, they decided to play country music. None of them knew anything about country or bluegrass, but that minor detail was quickly flushed away with a drop (or two) of whisky.

The Preacher Men's repertoire now ranges from classics like Coo-Coo Bird to more obscure songs from bands like The Devil Makes Three and The Hackensaw Boys, both a major influence. There's one rule in the band and one rule only: no happy songs.
