Nine-year-old Benni’s untamed energy drives everyone around her to despair. Though she can be violent, the traumatised girl is also lovable, understanding, vulnerable and very smart. She dreams of nothing more than being reunited with her unreliable mother. A moving portrait of a child, which challenges attitudes towards innocence, support and the role of the welfare state.
