For The Love Of Horses

In South Wales the story starts with the remains of horses found in the bone caves of Gower. Over the millennia the relationship deepens into a partnership reflected in mythology in the tale of the horse goddess Rhiannon in the Mabinogion.

This exhibition reflects the close relationship that has developed over 5,000 years, how the horse has shaped civilisation, and the local legacy of partnerships with the horse which survive today.
