Milestones are a new jazz group,formed in 2012 to celebrate the music of Miles Davis.The pianist leader Terry Seabrook has assembled a group of6 musicians to perform the classic top-selling album by Miles (kind of Blue),wich was released Aug 17 1959
In addition to the set performing the 5 tracks from Kind of Blue(So What,Freddie the Freeloder,Blue in Green,All Blues and Flamenco Sketches) Also new arrangments of Boplicity,Milesstones,Nardis,Seven Steps to Heaven and Prince of Darkness) and anew suite(Sketches of Miles)
