Five passionate wind players; virtuoso musicians and brilliant arrangers. Meet Calefax, a Dutch ensemble that breathes new life into classical chamber music by arranging it themselves to suit their unique line up of oboe, clarinet, saxophone, bass clarinet and bassoon. Their typically diverse programme takes us on a dazzling musical journey through 500 years of music, starting out in Renaissance Italy and ending in twentieth century France.
