The Swanage School

The Swanage School is proud to present their first ever school musical this March at the Mowlem Theatre. The original show was nominated for five Tony Awards and proved popular in London’s West End. Lonny Barnett, who serves as the show's narrator, sets up the story:

In 1987, an aspiring rocker named Drew Boley works as a busboy in the Hollywood bar/club called the Bourbon Room, owned by Dennis Dupree. Drew falls instantly for a girl, Sherrie Christian, who just arrived from Paola, Kansas, hoping to make it big in acting and the show follows their story of trying to make it in Hollywood, but of course love is never easy!
