Alan Parkinson

This talk by Sunderland born writer Alan Parkinson, who has spent the majority of his life living in his native city, explores his two novels, ‘Leg It’ and ‘Idle Threats’.

Both are set in Sunderland and lean heavily on his experiences growing up in Southwick and living and working on Wearside.
