The New Honeycombs, The New Ivy League

This show brings together the music of two great bands of the 60s – ‘The Honeycombs’ and ‘The Ivy League’. If you remember these bands, or simply like the genuine songs of the sixties - it will be a great trip down ‘Memory Lane’.

The ‘Honeycombs’ were originally formed in 1963 and are best known for their chart-topping ‘Have I The Right’. The ‘Ivy League’ became popular a year later in 1964 and are instantly recognisable by their vocal harmonies. ‘Tossing and Turning’ was probably the band’s best known chart-topper.

This show is full of timeless classics that will no doubt have everyone tapping their feet. The 1960s was undoubtedly a decade when popular music was at its best and these bands still have some members who have been playing for over 50 years – no one could be better qualified to bring you the authentic ‘Sounds of the Sixties’ and take you ‘Back in Time’!
