Southwold Harbour 1939 – two famous author fish for hidden secrets…

Red Skies looks at two of Suffolk’s most famous residents with very different links to Ipswich: George Orwell who took his name from the river, and Arthur Ransome who was resident on it, and what would have happened if they had met.

The show follows the two men over the years, both are in search of answers, both political and personal – whilst the former is about to write Animal Farm, the latter is married to Trotsky’s secretary, so sparks could fly.
