Brabbins & Rohwer

Rough For Theatre II is a 30 minute play by Samuel Beckett. It is the second piece of two short plays named 'Rough For Theatre' although the plays are not obviously connected to each other.

It was written in French in the late 1950s and first published in English in 1976, this intriguing one act tragicomedy is an excellent example of Samuel Beckett's work, though rarely performed.

The play begins when two bureaucrats, Bertrand and Morvan, enter a sixth floor apartment where they find Croker standing in front of an open window.

Sam Rohwer is a Stroud based actor who performed at last year's festival with Two Hoots in their Beckett Shorts.
