The Yeovilton Military Wives Choir

The Yeovilton Military Wives Choir was formed in 2012 as a result of the outstanding success of the original Military Wives Choirs from Chivenor and Plymouth, made famous through the BBC TV programme with Gareth Malone. Now comprising over 50 members, the Choir provides support for wives of servicemen while entertaining in the local community and, on this occasion, helping the Merriman Park Community Group raise funds for the regeneration of the park, created in 1923 as a focal point and meeting place for the residents of Street.
