Henry has ascended the throne following his fathers death to become King Henry V of England.

An uneasy alliance with France is still ongoing but Henry, in discussion with his advises and an insult from the French Dauphin decides to wage war. Marching to France he claims a famous victory at Harfleur but as his troops become weak and sickly, Henry admits defeat and wishes to return home, but standing in his way is the french army that out number the English five to one.

This is Shakespeare's most patriotic production and will be performed in full period costume.
