SoapBox is very proud to present one of their utmost favourite poets, writers and entertainers currently working in the UK today. They couldn't love her more.
Salena is ‘the doyenne of the spoken word scene’ - with twenty years of poetry and performance behind her she is a brilliant writer and entertainer. Funny, provocative and daring - Salena is also known as ‘the Mae West madam of the Salon,’ not to mention being The General of Soho literary salon, the Book Club Boutique.
In 2014 Salena Godden published both Fishing In The Aftermath / Poems 1994-2014, marking twenty years of poetry and performance, and her memoir, Springfield Road.
