For the last gig of 2019, it's back to Fulford to present a special joint headline show of Mersey sounds, when they host one of Liverpool's finest and most respected singer-songwriters, Pete Riley, and joining Pete on stage will be Shamona; one of the hottest young bands to come out of the city in recent years.
Born and raised in Liverpool, Pete Riley has been playing music ever since he can remember. During the 90's, Pete toured the US with his band Treehouse before successfully teaming up with Edwin McCain, playing live shows and performing on four of his albums. In 2010 Riley moved back to the UK and has more recently been writing, producing and recording with a host of stars, including Amy Wadge and Henry Priestman.
Joining Pete onstage will be Shamona, one of Liverpool's most exciting young bands. This powerful trio from Crosby formed at school five years ago and have built up a reputation as a formidable live band in recent years.
Born and raised in Liverpool, England, Pete Riley has been playing music ever since he can remember. At the age of 12 he played his first gig in Liverpool doing Beatles covers and realised that this was what he was going to do with the rest of his life. He went on to play in numerous bands, touring the British Isles throughout the 80s and early 90s. Over the past few years he has been writing/recording and producing with a lot of different artists from all over the world, including Edwin McCain, Narada Michael Walden, Maia Sharp, Angie Aparo, Kevn Kinney, Henry Priestman (The Christians), Deadmono (Sweden) and most recently with Amy Wadge.

Shamona are a 3 piece band from Liverpool who have received great acclaim from many of Liverpool’s finest musicians. They were winners of the Out On Stage talent competition.
