Since re-discovering her childhood miniature novelty Yamaha Portasound PSS-149 keyboard in her parent’s attic in late 2018, lovingly scraping battery acid out of its every orifice, and attaching a trademarked Keyboard Stability System (strap), Catherine Burgis has taken it upon herself to visit as many comedy nights in and beyond her home town of Manchester as possible accompanied by this versatile and (crucially) lightweight instrument.
