Stockport Schools' Brass Band

Stockport Schools’ Brass Bands (SSBB) were formed in 1978 and this year celebrate 35 years of making music in Stockport. The organisation consists of three bands and band members range from the ages of 6 to 18.

To celebrate the 35th Anniversary past members of SSBB are reuniting to play some of the old favourites. This promises to be a wonderful evening of music with some of the top brass players in Stockport and beyond coming together to play in the Reunion Band. The evening will start with a performance from the current Senior and Intermediate Bands who will play their programme for their tour to France and Belgium which takes place in July.

And with the finale of the evening being a massed band piece with over 100 people on stage, this really is a concert not to be missed.
