Style, glamour and elegance are words synonymous with Art Deco and here is your early evening opportunity to join one of our Behind The Scenes tour with a deco twist….

Following a welcome drinks reception in the sumptuous surroundings of our beautiful auditorium and a chance to soak in the atmosphere of Stockport’s 1932 Art Deco gem, our team of guides will escort you on a tour behind the scenes visiting dressing rooms, projection space and give you the opportunity to stand on the stage which has played host to stars of yesteryear and today including Hollywood legend Mickey Rooney, television icon Violet Carson and more recently the much loved Sir Ken Dodd as well as famous singers including Frankie Vaughn who famously recorded his ode to Stockport in The Plaza and more recently current stars of the music industry Blossoms.

Tickets include a complimentary copy of the Plaza DVD 'Full of Dreams' and all proceeds go towards the ongoing Maintenance and Restoration Appeal for The Plaza.
