Andy Powell Big Band

After the amazing success of last year’s show, Stockport’s very own Andy Powell returns by popular demand to The Plaza with his 17 piece Jazz Orchestra for another evening of Swing, Big Band and Great American songbook classics. Expect to hear songs from the likes of Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Nat King Cole through to Count Basie, Glenn Miller and Ella Fitzgerald to name but a few.

Andy will also have some very special guest vocalists on the night with some of the proceeds kindly being donated to the ongoing Maintenance and Restoration Appeal for your Plaza Super Cinema and Variety Theatre.
