Cellist Matthew Sharp is internationally recognised as both a compelling classical artist and a fearless pioneer, and in this concert takes the lead in Antonín Dvořák’s B Minor Cello Concerto.
The programme also includes the overture from Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro, Haydn’s Symphony no 101, subtitled ‘The Clock’, and the final two sections of Aaron Copland’s Rodeo, Saturday Night Waltz and Hoedown.
