Heavy Mod

Heavy Mod is a band formed to celebrate the music and career of some of the greatest Rock 'n' Roll Mod bands of all time. The plan is to show what it would have been like to witness The Who, The Kinks and the Small Faces among others perform a live set in their R n B pomp at gigs such as the 60's Beat Club, Isle of White, Woodstock and of course Live at Leeds.

The shows place great emphasis on bands live performances thus providing the most dynamic stage show packed full of brilliantly played mod classics from the 60s and beyond. The band members are all experienced musicians who have been playing in bands for nearly 20 years including: SPG, Band of Mojos, Heavy Soul, Cruyff Turn, Live at Leeds and Rise to name but a few. They recreate the live sound of the sixties with shocking accuracy and an emphasis on the Mod sound and the Mod look.
