Come and join popular local a cappella choir in a glorious selection of seasonal songs and carols and join in with some! all sung in the wonderful Georgian ballroom. This is the choirs first public performance with their new leader Emmanuel Omuederiaye.
Woven Chords is a mixed choir from Stamford who sing unaccompanied harmony songs from across the globe. Celebrating the richness and variety of the human voice, Woven Chords’ acappella singing gives expression to sumptuous harmonies from many different cultural traditions. Woven Chords specialises in traditional and contemporary songs from Eastern Europe, Africa, America and Britain, with harmonies drawn from centuries-old oral traditions. From gospel to work songs, from haunting chants to rousing celebration, there is something here for everyone. The choir rehearses on Thursday evenings during term time (so subject to variation) from 7:30pm in Stamford Arts Centre more details from firstname.lastname@example.org
