Eden Sessions: Dizzee Rascal + Katy B + BackBeat Soundsystem + Kwabs
East London superstar Dizzee Rascal has been confirmed as a headliner at this summer's Eden Sessions. He will play at the home of the famous Biomes on Saturday June 21.
Dizzee, also known as Dylan Mills, released his fifth studio album The Fifth in September last year and it became his fourth consecutive record to peak in the top ten in the UK. The Fifth spawned the top ten singles Goin' Crazy, featuring Robbie Williams, and Something Really Bad, featuring will.i.am. To date, he has released four number one singles, all from his fourth album Tongue n' Cheek. Boy in da Corner, Dizzee's 2003 debut, won that year's Mercury Prize, an award for which he was nominated again in 2007 for his third record Maths + English and in 2010 for his follow-up album Tongue n' Cheek. In 2010 he was named Best British Male Solo Artist at the BRIT Awards.
Confirming his place at the top table of UK music, Dizzee was one of the artists to perform at the opening ceremony of the London Olympic Games in 2012.

Ghanaian-born but London-based soul singer Kwabs, short for Kwabena Sarkodee Adjepong, has been dubbed "the new Seal".
The former jazz student takes from his African roots to blend R&B with gospel influences set against a backdrop of electro-synthesized soul.
His single 'Wrong Or Right' was described by The Guardian as sounding "like Stevie Wonder jamming in Sheffield with Phil Oakey".
