Dr Feelgood, Eddie And The Hot Rods

Dr. Feelgood formed on Canvey Island in Essex in the early 1970s and remain one of the most popular and exciting live rhythm and blues acts in the world. The raw and uncompromising style of their performance resulted in the album Stupidity that immediately went to the number one position in the U.K. charts.

They have also enjoyed global success with a string of hit singles including Roxette, Back in the Night, Milk and Alcohol, Down at the Doctors, She Does it Right, Going Back Home and See You Later Alligator, which gave the group their first gold record

Eddie and the Hotrods are one of a few now legendary UK bands that broke out of the London pubrock scene of the late 1970’s and into mainstream global success. They scored four UK top forty hit singles, ‘Do anything you wanna do’ gave the band a top ten hit in 1977 and gets regular airplay nearly forty years on. They toured alongside bands such as The Ramones, Talking Heads, The Police, and their support bands included Squeeze and Ultravox.

They have been listed as one of the top 100 most influential bands in Mojo magazine. The band still tour worldwide and are once again regarded as one of the most exciting live bands.
