Watching The Young Ones with his brothers as an eight year old, at two in the morning on Comic Relief, he realised then that he wanted to be funny in some way. Relaxed and improvisatory, Andrew Bird is one of those rare comedians who makes friends with his audiences in an instant with his engaging mix of childhood stories and more recent anecdotes.
He has supported Rhod Gilbert, Lee Hurst and Michael McIntyre as well as performing internationally.
'Superb... the exciting rising star' (Time Out)
'A natural comedian' (The Stage)
'Beautifully observed and insightful... not only an entertaining story but a very funny hour of fine stand-up' (Chortle)
'Effortlessly engaging and funny as hell' (Rhod Gilbert).

With musical skills that would easily fit into many rock bands, Duncan Oakley performs an infectious mix of musical comedy and stand up with one of his trusty guitars - Maurice (Fender Strat), No 7 (acoustic) or The Lezza (his Les Paul) by his side.
With an eye and ear for the silly, rude, playful and downright irritating occurrences of life, Duncan musters up songs that don't just make you laugh, they bury into the recesses of your mind and find you humming a tune with a smile on your face 3 days later, confused and wondering where it's come from.
He'll blow you away as he powers out a deft blend of stupidity and truly impressive musicianship (he's nifty on a guitar) and you'll quickly warm to his easy confidence and good natured banter. He never fails to put on a show and one with laughs you’ll remember for years to come.
'There's laughter and there's laughter and if you want to experience real mccoy, genuine, honestly felt, uncontrollable cachinnation the best place is at a Duncan Oakley gig' (Plymouth Herald)
'Oakley's routine deftly mixes the tunes with the stand-up' (City Life)
'... the encore had me in tears of laughter' (BBC)
'Leaping between stupidity and pure brilliance' (Yorkshire Evening Post)

Stand-up comedian who made his performing debut in February 2008 and has since progressed from open spots and gong show competitions to regular paid work and a growing reputation.
Pete is comfortable with a set from 5 to 20 minutes and has also proved himself to be a very popular MC / compere and after dinner speaker.
'Well written, hard hitting gags that just keep coming…. if every act was half as good you'd have a blinder' (That Time of the Month, Newport Pagnell)
'Excellent. He starts with a strong series of gags... and gets better from there' (Martin Mullaney, Cheeky Monkey Comedy, Birmingham)
'A mature comedy performance that had the audience eating out of his hand' (Nigel Rushby, TNT Comedy)
'What a performance... ballachingly funny' (Paul Savage, Speakeasy Comedy)
'Epitomised the taking of difficult, painful situations in life and turning it into great comedy' (Lou Chawner).
Pete Teckman tour dates
Stylishly shirted, Yorkshire-born Scott Bennett delivers wry observations on the absurdity of modern living. His sharply-written routines, drawn from real-life experiences have been delighting audiences across the country; except in Yorkshire, where they are deeply suspicious of his shirts.
Likeable, with a warm and engaging delivery, he is a Yorkshire live wire with an undeniable no nonsense logic. English Comedian of the Year Runner Up, Comedy Cellar New Act of the Year and Old Speckled Hen Comedian of the Year.
'A generous helping of wonderfully witty comic observations about life's little quirks, relationships and human behaviour. Served by a Yorkshireman with relentless enthusiasm and boundless energy' (http://www.bbc.co.uk)
'Naturally hilarious, the highlight of the evening' (Broadway Baby, Edinburgh Fringe 2013)
'A star of the future' (Huddersfield Examiner)
'This loveable rising star enthrals his audiences with his warm and engaging delivery, he is a Yorkshire live wire with an undeniable no nonsense logic' (Funhouse Comedy).
