An Inspector Calls

Arthur Birling has a wife, Sybil; a lovely young daughter, Sheila, and a prosperous business. During a party to celebrate the engagement of Sheila to Gerald Croft, son of a wealthy industrialist, a police inspector calls, investigating a sudden death in the neighbourhood.

As his investigation proceeds their comfortable existence begins to unravel.
