The second of Palace Theatre's chamber music concerts will feature the brilliant young Bulgarian cellist Michael Petrov. After studying at the Yehudi Menuhin School, Michael Petrov has emerged as one of the most exciting cellists of his generation.
His recital will include Prokofiev’s fiendishly difficult Sonata for Cello and Piano, Schumann’s Fantasy Pieces and Chopin’s masterpiece for cello – his Sonata in G minor. We’re also delighted to welcome Alexander Ullmann, Michael Petrov’s regular piano partner.
