The Jazz Mix
The Jazz Mix presents Incognito soulful RnB vocalist Imaani.
A powerful and charismatic vocalist in the soul / RnB tradition, Imaani's career has taken her from Eurovision stardom to 5 world tours with the iconic band Incognito, as well as collaborations with Gloria Gaynor, Michael Bolton and Beverley Knight. Once described by a young Daily Telegraph journalist named Boris Johnson as "possessing a voice like molten Toblerone", Imaani has kept the world waiting for her debut solo album. After featuring on no fewer than 10 albums with Incognito - and performing with them many times at the Jazz Cafe - she has finally released her album "Standing Tall" on Dome Records. Incognito's Bluey talks of her as "one of the most wonderful and memorable voices that has graced so many Incognito albums and tours".
