R2

Having played a triumphant first gig here at The Heads earlier this year, welcome R2 back for another helping of rush!

R2 is an authentic three-piece tribute to the Canadian prog rock supergroup. Steve Hales (drums/percussion), Richie Cahill (guitar/bass pedals) and James Durand (bass/vocals/keys) combine to perform the songs as Rush do, playing and triggering all instruments and sequences live on stage.

This gives R2 the same sound, feel and excitement as watching the real thing.

Their two-hour show is packed with massive songs from every era, 2112, Tom Sawyer, YYZ, Subdivisions, The Spirit of Radio and many more.
