The special guests will be discussing their FA Cup Final experiences, and providing analysis of the day’s big match. Hosted by Sky Sports’ news anchor Adam Leventhal, this is an event not to be missed!

Euro 2016 - England v Wales
From the moment the draw was made, pairing England and Wales in the same group, anticipation has been building for one of the biggest Home Nations clashes ever, as the two rivals meet in this crucial match.

England will undoubtedly start as favourites with the strength in depth of their squad, but Wales, led by the supremely talented Gareth Bale, having genuine prospects of conjuring up a victory over their old rivals. It will be fascinating and nerve-wracking to see which team comes out on top.

Saints 1976 FA Cup Winning Side
Southampton’s legendary triumph over the mighty Manchester United team in the 1976 FA Cup Final surely ranks as the greatest achievement in this proud club’s history, and one of the competition’s biggest ever shocks.

After finishing the season in sixth place in the Second Division, few pundits or fans gave them much chance of overcoming a United side which had finished third in the top flight, and featured the likes of Steve Coppell, Sammy McIlroy and Lou Macari.

But Bobby Stokes wrote himself into Saints folklore, netting the only goal of the game in the 83rd minute to seal an unlikely victory. This is the chance to hear from two of the men who played their parts in the Saints’ triumph.

James Beattie
Regarded by Southampton fans as one of the club’s finest strikers in recent years, James played over 200 games for the Saints, scoring 76 goals, and breaking into the England team whilst at St. Mary’s.

After an outstanding Premier League season with 23 goals, he played in the 2003 FA Cup Final defeat by Arsenal, hitting the woodwork in the dying moments of the game, as Gunners held on for a 1-0 victory courtesy of Robert Pires. He eventually moved on to Everton for a club record £6 million in 2005, but will always be fondly remembered for his exploits with the Saints.

Nick Holmes
An undoubted club legend, Southampton born Nick spent his entire professional career at the Dell, making over 500 appearances. A versatile player at both full back and in midfield, Nick also weighed in with his fair share of goals, and was a key player for well over a decade, including in the club’s best ever League season, in 1983-84 when they finished second in the top flight.

He started on the left side of midfield on the most famous day in the club’s history, the legendary 1-0 FA Cup triumph over Manchester United, outshining the illustrious names in Red.

Jim Steele
Hard man centre back Jim Steele was signed by the Saints from Dundee in January 1972, and soon established himself as a fan’s favourite with his no nonsense approach to defending. He went on to make 201 appearances for the club, including his memorable performance in the 1976 FA Cup Final.

Despite Bobby Stokes’ goal-scoring heroics, it was Jim who picked up the coveted man-of-the-match award, after a flawless display against the talented United attack. We are thrilled to reunite Jim with his old team-mate Nick, it will be fascinating to hear from them!
